“Yeah, I’m scared. Yeah, I’m angry. Yeah, I’m (asking), ‘Why me?,”‘ he told American TV’s Barbara Walters in an interview.
“You can bet that I’m going through hell, and I’ve only seen the beginning of it.”
But the Dirty Dancing star said he would beat the cancer: “Watch me! You watch what I pull off!”
The interview, filmed for Walters’ special, Patrick Swayze: The Truth, was shot on the ranch the actor shares with his wife Lisa Niemi in the San Gabriel Mountains near Los Angeles.

my name is Sandra and I am a chef (I own a cooking school in Tuscany, between Lucca and the sea) I too have cancer, breast G3, and went through chemo and all that. your attitude is amazing, i have been the same. working every day, teaching my American students for 8 months during chemo was hard hard hard but i did it and I am here .i want to be here for a long time as i am too young to drop the sponge (like we say here!) i am 43 yrs old. have faith. the fact that some of our cancers do not have a cure yet, doens’t mean that we will die. you die when it is convenient to you. you will make it. just be as aggressive as that cancer is. you will win.
